Alicia Allen races at Ironman Lake Tahoe

Yesterday, Alicia competed at Ironman Lake Tahoe, and finished in 11:15: 2nd in her age group, 7th in women's division and 103rd overall. Great race Alicia!

Karl and Robert's Team Win 1st Place in Design Contest

Undergrads Karl Solomon and Robert Xu competed in the UT BMES Robotics Design Competition. Their team programmed a robot made from Legos that can locate and expose a model tumor in a gel. The contest is open to all engineering departments. All their hard work paid off, and their team won 1st place!  Congratulations Karl and Robert!
