Lan is awarded a R21 from NINDS to study the hemodynamic and neural consequences of peri-infarct depolarization after ischemic stroke. We will combine our ultraflexible NET electrodes with advanced functional imaging techniques in the Dunn lab to simultaneous map neural activity and hemodynamic parameters in a mouse stroke model with fine control on the lesion size and location.
