Moggan Motamed, Ph.D.
(Click name for full bio) Moggan is a doctoral candidate in her final year of studies. She holds two Masters of Civil Engineering degrees, one from the University of Texas and another from Khaje Nasir Toosi University of Technology in Iran, where her studies focused on highway pavement engineering. Currently, she developed a real-time freeway incident detection tool using machine learning as part of her dissertation. She has previously studied the use of traffic detectors on I –35, freeway traffic diversion, and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) operation.
