(Click name for full bio) Neaz is a second-year Ph.D. student and came to study at UT after serving on faculty at Bangladesh University of Engineering Technology for several years. He is currently studying the feasibility of utilizing shoulder capacity during peak periods along selected corridors within the Dallas-Fort Worth region and developing a way to reduce damages to low bridges from over-height trucks. His research interests include: Traffic Engineering and Design; Analysis and Design of Pavements using Finite Element; Intelligent Transport System (ITS) for Developing Countries; Public Transport Systems -Planning and Evaluation; Road Safety; and Accident Investigation.
