The Energy Geomechanics Applied Laboratory (EAGLe) is a state-of-the-art facility for geomechanics research. The facility serves for scientific research exploring the mechanics and physics of natural porous solids for applications in the energy industry, and is equipped with a high-pressure high-temperature triaxial frame (TerraTek 20ksi - Schlumberger), X-ray microtomography (Nikon XT 225 ST), a high-pressure-high-temperature reactor for CO2 geological applications, and a scratcher for micromechanical testing.
