Engineers make dreams come true. Inspired by great movies like Matrix, Inception and Transcendence, my dream is to uncover the secrets of nervous systems with advanced brain machine interface technologies. During my undergraduate years in HK PolyU as well as my exchange study in the University of Pennsylvania, my focus was neural recording analysis through signal processing and machine learning. In Nanoscale Neural Interface Lab, I want to investigate how stable long term recording method of neural activity can better shed light on our understanding of the nervous systems.
Outside the school, I am cultivating my quantitative cooking skills, the Entrée that I am currently “fabricating” is steak. In addition, I am really into classical music, some of my favorites include:
Water Music Suite No.1 HWV 348: V. [Allegro] by Handel,
The Four Seasons, Winter II. [Largo] by Vivaldi
Trout Quintet 4th movement by Schubert
