Kyung Taeck Minn
Hi! This is Robert Minn and I'm a second year graduate student in Dr. Xie's lab. My undergraduate research interests at Rice University were mostly focused on cardiovascular mechanobiology. My current research interests in the Nanoscale Neural Interface Lab focus on building a 3D neuron-nanoelectronics hybrid as an in vitro brain model. I'm also very interested in signal processing, computer science, and imaging. I'm trying to make my project as interdisciplinary as possible by trying to incorporate concepts and techniques from other fields.
I enjoy cooking, running, traveling the world, and brewing my own liquor. The unofficial goal of my Ph.D is to become good enough at brewing so that I can present a keg of beer for my guests at my defense.
