I am a BME undergraduate currently involved in the fabrication of micron-scaled, flexible brain probes and am working on designing and fabricating micron-scaled implantation devices. These implantation devices are designed for accurate delivery in tissue and a minimal implantation footprint. An understanding of engineering principles often provides valuable insight into medical problems, and I ultimately want to enter the medical field with this perspective. Outside the lab, my three loves are gyro, soccer, and hiking, and I hope to someday try backpacking!
